CTRL_DAT
CTRL_DAT is a limited series of five phygital artworks exploring time as a key element of generative art.
Each piece generates a new composition every minute over the course of a one-year loop, creating a total of 525,600 unique compositions — one for every minute of the year.
The work combines a mechanical flip-digits display, a custom pre-coded board with a built-in unique ID, and a black steel case. Each unit produces its own distinct set of results, making every piece in the series unique.
Dimensions: 20 × 20 × 7 cm
Materials: mechanical flip-digits display, custom electronics, black steel case
