Flipdigits Monitor

A monitor made of mechanical flip-digit screens playing generative animations. These displays, usually found at airports and train stations, use energy only when a digit changes state and stay readable in strong light; their characteristic sound comes from the moving mechanical parts. The project covered controller programming, generative animations and the physical object. Made in collaboration with flip-digit producer AlfaZeta.
